BURP bisa membackup phonebook anda melalui akses internet dengan protokol GPRS hingga HSDPA. Simshield menyediakan layanan via sync, sms dan via web.
ZYB (http://zyb.com)- satu-satunya layanan backup online gratisan yang akan kita bahas kali ini, karena memiliki beberapa keunggulan. Tak hanya kontak, ZYB juga dapat membackup calendar dan sms Anda. Aplikasi ini dapat dijalankan di hampir semua jenis handphone terkini. Gratis, tak perlu software khusus. Untuk menjalankannya Anda hanya memerlukan beberapa pengaturan.
Setting dan Penggunaan
Sebagai langkah awal, masuklah ke situs http://zyb.com/. Temukan tanda sign up now dan klik tombol panah di bawahnya. Anda akan menemukan form konfirmasi untuk sign up. Isikan data-data yang diperlukan ke dalam form tersebut.
Tunggulah beberapa saat. Halaman baru akan tertampil untuk Anda. Jika tak ada halangan, Anda juga akan menerima SMS berisi konfirmasi signup beserta kode ZYB. Masukkan kode tersebut. Selanjutnya pilih operator selular dan tipe ponsel Anda. Kini Anda telah terdaftar di layanan ZYB dan bisa melakukan login setiap saat.
Seperti disinggung di atas, ZYB menggunakan protokol syncML untuk dapat membackup data Anda. Diperlukan pengaturan kecil pada ponsel Anda supaya data Anda bisa 'sampai' dan dibackup di server ZYB.
Sebagai contoh pengaturan sinkronisasi menggunakan syncML pada Motorola V3xx dilakukan dengan mengakses menu - connection - MOTOSYNC. Setelah itu, Anda tinggal memasukkan beberapa entri petunjuknya, juga terdapat di halaman ZYB. Petunjuk pengaturan untuk tipe ponsel lainnya juga disediakan dengan gamblang di situs ZYB. Jangan lupa setelah proses pengaturan lakukan sinkronisasi. Pada contoh Motorola V3xx, sinkronisasi dilakukan dengan menekan tombol sync di menu connection - MOTOSYNC - ZYB.
Agar hasil backup Anda bisa ditampilkan di situs ZYB, Anda juga perlu melakukan sinkronisasi melalui PC. Masuklah ke menu sinkronisasi dan tekan tombol sync. Jangan lupa untuk mengisi kolom nama depan dan nama belakang Anda senyampang menunggu proses sinkronisasi.

Membackup SMS
Cara yang agak berbeda digunakan oleh ZYB dalam membackup SMS Anda. Supaya SMS yang kan dibackup tersimpan di server ZYB, Anda harus memforward sms tersebut ke nomor-nomor yang telah ditentukan oleh mereka. Forwardlah SMS yang hendak Anda backup ke salah satu nomor di bawah ini.

Download aplikasi Karaoke di http://www.getjar.com/products/8639/Karaoke (dari PC) atau masuk ke wap.GetJar.com dari ponsel, lalu klik quick download dan masukkan kode: 12099. Download lalu install.
Buka aplikasi. Menjalankan aplikasi ini sebenarnya sangat sederhana. Aplikasi ini hanya memainkan file audio berbentuk midi dan teks berformat kar dengan realtime lyric. Walau hanya menyertakan 'volume change' (pengatur besar kecil suara) namun tampilan teks sudah sesuai dengan bunyi suara yang dihasilkan. Geser joystick ke kanan untuk memperbesar suara dan ke kiri untuk memeprkecil suara. Pada sisi bawah layar akan terlihat durasi lagu dan waktu yang sedang berjalan. Anda hanya tinggal mengikuti teks yang terpampang pada layar.
Ketika lagu sedang berjalan kita dapat berpindah ke lagu berikutya atau melakukan pengaturan besar kecilnya huruf atau keluar aplikasi dengan mengklik pilihan > next song, small font atau exit.
Anda bisa melakukan update terhadap playlist lagu melalui 'internet playlist'. caranya kita hanya cukup membuka pilih > connect > pilih jalur gprs yang Anda pakai. Pastikan jalur gprs ponsel Anda telah diatur, selanjutnya pilih bahasa yang dipergunakan. Sebagai catatan, aplikasi ini hanya memuat 4 lagu pada awal instalasi yaitu: Don't be cruel - by Elvis, I'll Be There - by the Jackson's, Yesterday - by The Beatles dan Queen - We are the champions.
Lagu yang berasal dari internet akan disesuaikan dengan tipe ponsel yang digunakan. Beberapa ponsel yang memiliki keterbatasan memori dalam memainkan file midi dan kar akan mengalami 'hang'. Bila ini terjadi Anda cukup dengan mengklik pilihan > keluar, maka tampilan akan kembali ke list lagu bawaan. Begitu lagu telah terdownload, maka lagu akan berjalan otomatis. Namun jangan berharap lagu yang didownload tersimpan otomatis di ponsel. Jadi setiap kali update lagu kita diharuskan terhubung dengan internet. Namun semua itu gratis. Namun sayang, download lagu yang disediakan tidak ada pilihan lagu Indonesia.
